Since its very beginning, the Medellin’s Modern Art Museum has worked towards being more than just a museum. It is a space that provides pleasant encounters and surprises, where all sorts of artistic and cultural manifestations have the capacity to summon a very diverse public.
Today, thanks to a loan from the Mayor’s office and after a long-haul of three decades, the Museum that has witnessed the transformation of the city now expands. It has a new headquarter in the south side of Medellin: an ancient building traditionally of industrial calling, now assigned to fulfill unique museumgraphics and logistic conditions, which will inscribe the museum on the international circuits of art.
The MAMM offers the versatile, flexible and adaptable conditions that artists and creators demand today; in order to fulfill all the ever-growing requirements and expectations of the public; and answer to the continuous change of this new reality that demands the capability of projecting itself permanently into the future.

MEDELLIN´S BOTANICAL GARDEN
The Medellin Botanical Garden is a live museum and scientific research center. It is an environmental classroom which allows for education, recreation and citizen culture. It has 14 hectares of live scientifically organized collections, that constitute a beautiful garden of plants of the most diverse groups and species, and it is located in the heart of the city. In addition, it has an Orquideorama, Lagoon, forest, restaurant, coffee, theater, assembly halls, souvenir store, plant nursery and parking lot.
How to get there? For your convenience, we recommended you to use the Metro. The University Station is located a few passages away from the pedestrian entrance of the Botanical Garden. We also have a small parking lot over route 52 (Carabobo) with a capacity for 120 vehicles.

EXPLORA PARK
The Explora Park is an interactive park for the appropriation and the publication of science and technology which counts with 22 thousand squared meters of internal area and 15 thousand of public places. It has more the 300 interactive experiences, one 3D auditorium, television study, infant room, spaces for everyone to experiment on, and one hall of temporary exhibitions; which makes the park the greatest project for scientific and technological promotion that Medellin offers to its local population and visitors, in order to raise creativity and provide a fun learning experience through hands-on activities, while creating knowledge that aids for the development, well-being and dignity of all human beings.
At the same time, with 4,000 individuals and 400 species of fresh and salty water in the aquarium, 16 species between amphibians, reptiles and arthropods in the fish-pond, the Explora Park is not only an interactive center for science and technology; but It is also a zoo, deeply committed towards the protection, investigation and environmental education in association with friendly institutions, with whom it establishes cooperation strategies, consultant's office and joint operations for the conservation of the diversity in the country.

EL PUEBLITO PAISA
El Pueblito Paisa, réplica de un pueblo The Pueblito Paisa is a replica of an Antiochian town, it was constructed at the top of the Nutibara Hill in 1976 and officially inaugurated on March 3rd of 1978. At the top of the square stands out a church and it is surrounded by the traditional mountain gardens, the priest house, the Mayor’s office, a school, the Barber's shop, the boardinghouse, the Store and the towns local radio station plus several other commercial premises, where souvenirs, arts and crafts are for sale
